A Big Idea
Mike Murphy, president of the Hostler model rail club, formulated the idea of starting a Model Train Museum in an empty story at the New Gate Mall in Ogden, Utah. Along with a dedicated group of model train hobbyists the museum is being gradually realized. Check out the Exhibits and Layout display on this website.
Board Elected
The five 2023-24 board of directors was elected in June and began their terms July 1st 2023

Museum volunteers who reached a plateau of days on duty during January and February 2025 were awarded with a luncheon and name badges with number of hours volunteering.
