Union Pacific's Steam Locomotive, the 4014 "Big Boy" is a legend to rail fans. In May 2019 the locomotive was brought back to life and brought to Ogden to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad.  The museum is proud to display a model of this important locomotive. Built to run out of Ogden up the steep grade the Cheyenne.  Models of the Big Boy are popular with hobbyists.  Photos, Diagrams and models are on display at our museum.
